Cant activate Prime Gaming

Hello, i want to activate prime gaming but if i want to activate prime gaming i get the error:

Oh no! We can't enable Prime Gaming on your account.

It looks like there was an error activating Prime Gaming.

I have the same problem and i can't fix it, amazon support couldn't help and directed me to technical service which they didn't respond.

Do you use credit card or debit card? It seems like people use cards with zero balance to use amazon services for free. So you need to have some money on your bank account, they withdraw a small amount of money to see if they can charge you then they return your money back. I had the same problem then realized i dont have any balance on my virtual card. I put some money in in and my problem was solved.

I find it rediculous that they do that. If it's a FREE 30 day trial. I activated prime to get it but when I wanted to activate Prime Gaming it just gives me the same exact message:

Make sure your billing address is correct. Or add the billing address to your card if you haven't already. Then try again it worked for me.

I figured this out. Prime and prime gaming are separate charges. Yes you do need to cover the pre auth for both. But will only be charged after trial. Prime gaming is included in prime so I'm waiting for my trial to end before I figure out if I'm being over charged.
